Imétronic Freezing for Windows controls the Imétronic
fear conditioning equipment. The program monitors position and movements
using a grid of infrared beams. Imétronic Freezing data
files can hold position data of multiple experimental sessions. Wintrack
can read the files and combine their data with event data recorded via
the PC keyboard using MICE, a DOS utility developed by Alexei Visotsky.
Wintrack expects Imétronic Freezing data files to have
the extension .DAT. MICE data files should be stored in the same folder
and have the same file name as the corresponding Imétronic
Freezing data file. Their extension should indicate the session number
(.001 .002 etc.).
See Inside case documents for more
information on case documents and their file formats. Imétronic
Freezing file format provides more detailed information about the
handling of this data type.
