Dialog defaults
As a dialog box is displayed, its fields already contain default values
or options. You can accept these defaults or specify new values and
options as you wish. Wintrack attempts to present you with defaults
that minimize your typing efforts:
- In many cases, the presented default is the one you specified the
last time you used the same dialog. Wintrack remembers your specifications
even if you close the program and start it another time.
- In some cases, Wintrack generates automatic values that apply to
the current situation, for example a unique name for a new window.
- If you invoke a dialog box using a shortcut button of the Wintrack
toolbar, defaults will reflect your button choice. For example if
you select a print shortcut, printer will appear as the default target
when the dialog opens.

No matter what default a dialog box field contains,
you can always select one of your most recently specified values
or options from the field's history list. you open the list by clicking
the down arrow button which is present in all dialog box
fields of Wintrack. |
