Analyzing case documents in Wintrack means to define and evaluate
variables. Numerical analysis results are presented in a scrollsheet
where variables are represented by columns. The meaning of the rows
in such a scrollsheet depends on the variable type. For case variables,
each row represents an entire case document whose name and number will
be written to the first two columns of the scrollsheet. For example,
a case variable may calculate the average path length over all trials
of the first day, or determine the first trial with an escape time of
less than 15 s, etc. The Analyze
Case Document command provides a list of predefined variables you
can choose from, but you can also define your own custom variables using
a custom variable definition file.
