The Open Case Document command recognizes
new and older HVS Image files automatically. HVS data is expected to
be sampled at an interval of 0.1 s (sampling switch on tracker set to
SLOW). But Wintrack allows you to specify a different sampling interval
to resample data during import. You can also specify an averaging frame
for smoothing of the imported data. HVS Image files provide goal position
information which Wintrack uses to determine in which quadrant the goal
is located. However, exact platform coordinates are not imported, they
must be specified for each quadrant using the Arena
Properties command. The files are, however, not aware of setup versions
which can be applied to case documents when working with custom setup
files in Wintrack. Therefore, Wintrack may automatically activate the
Case Properties command after loading
a HVS image file so you can specify a setup version manually.
You might want to combine the imported trial files into case documents:
you can do this using the Append to file option of the Save
Case Document As command. As an alternative, you may use Windows
NotePad (or any other word processing program that can handle plain
text files) to write a list of HVS file names. The Open
Case Document command will recognize such lists automatically, import
the listed HVS files and combine them into a single case document. As
you write lists of HVS file names, please respect the following rules:
