Features and purpose of Wintrack |
||
Wintrack is a Windows application, written in C++ for off-line analysis of paths recorded from moving animals, for example during watermaze learning. Raw data can be imported from a variety of commercial video tracking systems, but also from conditioning chambers and GPS devices. All tracks of an animal can be gathered in a single document for graphical display in Wintrack's multiple document interface. An efficient drag and drop interface provides access to
71 predefined variables for numerical analysis.
Advanced analyses are controlled by user
written scripts. This extends the power and flexibility of the program
and permits to implement analyses that produce graphical results. A macro
language permits automation of large scale data analyses. Numeric results
are collected in scrollsheets, ready for
direct import into commercial statistics software. Graphical results can
be exported by copy and paste. |
