Wintrack provides storage space for 100 data arrays, temporary
internal data structures that you use while processing the statements
of a custom variable definition file in order to analyze case
documents. Each element of a data array represents a trial of
the case currently being analyzed. Depending on the analysis in
course, it may hold values such as the average swim speed during the
trial or the time spent in a given quadrant, etc. Data arrays are created
by collapsing the active data
matrix using the Collapse statement.,
or by collecting data from a data
surface using the Collect statement.
They may serve in turn as data source for creating trial
variables using the Tabulate statement,
for extracting data values
using the Extract statement, or as
criteria for de/selecting cells in a data matrix using the Include and
Exclude statements. See Managing
custom variable definition files to learn more on custom data analysis
in Wintrack.
