presented default values
and options. Disregard grayed
fields and options. When done, press Ok to continue. Or press Cancel
to abort. The setup file name will be preserved when quitting Wintrack
and the file reloaded when Wintrack is started the next time.
Type
Use this radio button
field to indicate the type of your experimental setup:
- water maze = cued or spatial water maze,
- Barnes maze = Barnes circular maze,
- open field = free openfield,
- custom with setup file = custom experimental setup defined
in the setup file which you specify in the file
field associated with this option. Use this option if none of
the three predefined setup types applies to your situation. Setup
files are expected to have the extension .WSP.
Size and shape
This group of number
fields controls the size and shape of the maze and any fields it
contains:
- maze [m] specifies the diameter of the maze.
- goal platform [m] specifies the diameter of the goal platform
in a water maze. This field is available if you select water maze
in the Type field.
- Barnes holes [m] specifies the diameter of the peripheral
holes of a Barnes circular maze. This field is only available if you
select Barnes maze in the Type field.
Position coordinates
This group of array
fields controls the position of any fields the maze contains:
- NE defines the coordinates of the center of the Northeast
goal annulus. This field is only available if you select water maze
in the Type field.
- NW defines the coordinates of the center of the Northwest
goal annulus. This field is only available if you select water maze
in the Type field.
- SE defines the coordinates of the center of the Southeast
goal annulus. This field is only available if you select water maze
in the Type field.
- SW defines the coordinates of the center of the Northeast
goal annulus. This field is only available if you select water maze
in the Type field.
- first Barnes hole defines the coordinates of the center of
the first Barnes maze hole. This field is only available if you select
Barnes maze in the Type field.
